Volkswagen Starts Helping Customers Identify Tainted Cars – Wall Street Journal

FRANKFURT—Volkswagen AG made its first concrete move to help customers assess whether their cars are fitted with emissions-test-cheating software, with its Audi AG luxury-car unit allowing them to enter their cars’ chassis numbers on a website.
