- Contact Information — name, email address, and phone number submitted through forms on our site
- Booking Information — when you request a detailing appointment at autodetailer.com/book: vehicle size, service package, preferred day and time, and the address where the vehicle will be
- Detailer Application Information — when a detailing professional applies at autodetailer.com/pro: business name, zip code, whether they are mobile or shop based, the services they offer, insurance status and carrier details, links to their Google Business Profile and website, and a video of their setup
- Usage Data — pages visited, time spent on site, and browser/device information collected automatically
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and follow up on form submissions
- Send text messages about your own booking, only if you ticked the optional SMS consent checkbox on the booking form (see section 4)
- Send text messages to detailers about their application, about job offers, scheduling and coordination once they join the network, and occasional news, promotions and offers from Autodetailer.com, only if they ticked the optional SMS consent checkbox on the detailer application (see section 4)
- Determine appropriate membership tier placement
- Send community updates, educational content, and membership communications by email only, which you can leave at any time via the unsubscribe link
- Improve our website and services
- Comply with legal obligations
4. SMS Communications
Wilson Auto Detailing LLC, operating as Autodetailer.com, sends SMS text messages only to people who have opted in. We run two separate text programs on two separate numbers: one with customers who book a detail, and one with the professional detailers who apply to and work in our network. Each has its own consent checkbox, described below. Consent is not given by submitting a form, by providing a phone number, or by agreeing to our Terms of Service. It is given only when you tick a separate, unticked checkbox on a form that describes the messages you will receive. The checkbox is optional: if you leave it unticked you can still use the service and we will contact you by email instead.
When you request a detailing appointment at autodetailer.com/book and tick that box, you agree to receive text messages about that booking: a confirmation of your request, your detailer’s assignment and arrival, a link to save a payment card, and replies to your questions about the booking. We record that you ticked the box, when, and the exact wording you agreed to. Up to 6 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.
We run a second, separate text program with the professional detailers who apply to and work in our network. Consent for it is collected the same way and only there: a separate, unticked checkbox on the detailer application at autodetailer.com/pro. Those messages cover the application itself, job offers, scheduling and coordination for detailers who join, and occasional news, promotions and offers from Autodetailer.com. Unlike the customer program, this one does include promotional messages, which is why its checkbox says so and why it is optional: consent to marketing is never a condition of applying or of working with us. They come from a different number and message frequency varies, because it is an ongoing working relationship rather than a fixed sequence. Message and data rates may apply. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We use Twilio as our SMS service provider; Twilio processes phone numbers and message content solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive, on our instructions, and does not use them for any other purpose.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyze site traffic and improve user experience. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the site may not function properly as a result.
6. Third Party Services
We use third party tools to operate our business including Twilio for SMS delivery, GoHighLevel for CRM and email communications, WP Engine for website hosting, and Cloudflare for security and performance. These providers process information only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us. They do not receive mobile opt-in data or consent information for their own use, and none of them may use your information for marketing or promotional purposes.
